# Snooze Notification

The **Snooze Notification** feature in Alerts4Dynamics allows users to temporarily dismiss alert notifications and have them reappear later. This helps in keeping the notification panel clean while ensuring that important messages are not missed.

With this feature, users can choose from preset snooze durations (1 hour, 4 hours, 1 day) or set a custom date and time. When snoozed, the notification disappears from the panel and reappears as an **unread pop-up notification** once the selected time is reached.

**Note:** This feature is available **only for Pop-up notifications**.

If you do not wish to allow users to snooze a notification, follow the steps below to create an Alert without a snooze notification:

* In the Message form, set **Allow Snooze** to **No.**

<figure><img src="https://272130504-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F-M0QoyqUVI8_HaZ9FOSL%2Fuploads%2F49psPLu3lKEQtXgZ5n15%2Fimage.png?alt=media&#x26;token=e43434af-f429-4900-b466-3a2cdbe19a8b" alt="Snooze Notification Dynamics 365 CRM"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

* Add a message for the Alert.
* Then, Save and Activate the message.

<figure><img src="https://272130504-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F-M0QoyqUVI8_HaZ9FOSL%2Fuploads%2F7CgB83S0uRMWXfNsyamk%2Fimage.png?alt=media&#x26;token=0907f761-fe3c-4198-856b-8cd9110ed5a8" alt="Snooze Notification Dynamics 365 CRM"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The “Snooze” icon will not be visible on the notification(s) as **Allow Snooze** set to **No**

Now, when the user clicks on **Snooze** in the notification panel after selecting the notification(s):

<figure><img src="https://272130504-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F-M0QoyqUVI8_HaZ9FOSL%2Fuploads%2F4DJp9cVqVw5CIdmMXt1e%2Fimage.png?alt=media&#x26;token=5e97b49b-86ce-4d54-8b99-2c58370a51dd" alt="Snooze Notification Dynamics 365 CRM"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

A pop-up will be shown: **“Snooze Not Allowed”**

<figure><img src="https://272130504-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F-M0QoyqUVI8_HaZ9FOSL%2Fuploads%2FgCrxLVefwdVLxp6xJNeU%2Fimage.png?alt=media&#x26;token=632d3b13-9901-4f04-b19f-f1cc2c314119" alt="Snooze Notification Dynamics 365 CRM"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

This ensures that the notification cannot be snoozed.
