# How to Enable Tree View

#### Overview

Tree View allows users to view related records in a clear tree structure. It makes it easier to understand relationships between records and navigate through the record hierarchy.

#### Step-by-Step Configuration

1\. Navigate to Settings > Entity Configurations and open the Entity Configuration record for the table to configure (for example, Account).

2\. On the General tab, scroll to the Tree View Setting section.

1\. Set Tree View to Yes to enable it for this table.

2\. Select a value for the required View to show fields on card field.

3\. Set Default Record Navigation Panel State to the desired option.

4\. Select Save (or Save & Close).

5\. Open a record of this table; the Tree View is now enabled and available for it.

#### Result

Once Tree View is set to Yes and saved, the Tree View becomes available for records of this table, using the selected view for parent card fields and the selected default state for the navigation panel.
