# View to Show Fields on Parent Card
#### Overview
The View to Show Fields on Card setting lets you choose which fields are displayed on the Parent Card, which represents the main or root record at the top of the Tree View.
The fields shown on the Parent Card are taken from the columns configured in the selected system or personal view.
#### Step-by-Step Instructions
1\. Navigate to Settings > Entity Configurations and open the Entity Configuration record for the table (for example, Account).
1\. On the General tab, scroll to the Tree View Setting section.
2\. In the View to show fields on card field, select a view for the table (the screenshots show All Accounts selected).
3\. Select Save.
4\. Open a record of this table and view its Tree View to confirm which fields now appear on the parent card.

#### Result
The fields displayed on the Parent Card are based on the columns available in the selected view.
For example, if the All Accounts view contains Main Phone, Primary Contact, and Status, these fields are displayed on the Parent Card along with the record name and address.
