# Marketing4Dynamics – Mailchimp to Dynamics 365 Sync Overview

**1. Audience Sync**

* User selects a **Mailchimp Audience** to sync with Dynamics 365 (e.g., Audience A, Audience B)
* User chooses or creates a **Static Marketing List** (Contact/Lead) to associate with the selected Audience — this list will store all synced members from Mailchimp

Two sync modes:

* **Full Sync** → Syncs the entire Audience — Tags, Interests, and Members (Contacts/Leads) — to CRM
* Populates the associated Marketing List with: List Type = Static, Member Type = Contact/Lead, Members Count = \[reflects synced member count]
* **Sync Only** → Syncs only Audience-level information (Tags and Interests) to CRM, **without** their Members

**2. Campaign Sync**

* User selects the **Campaign** to sync to CRM, with auto-sync activity enabled (e.g., Campaign A, Campaign B)
* Syncs the campaign's **Recipients, Statistics, and Activities** to CRM
* Fetches activities for the configured auto-sync period
* Syncs Campaign Activities based on Auto-Sync Settings, branching into two parallel flows:

**a. Sync Recipients**

* Checks **"Contact/Lead Record Exists?"**
* **Yes** → Syncs the Campaign Marketing Activities.
* **No** → Creates the Contact/Lead record in CRM along with their activities

**b. Sync Subscription Status (Opt-In/Opt-Out)**

* **Subscribe** → Sets the subscriber status as *Subscribed*
* **Unsubscribe** → Sets the subscriber status as *Unsubscribed*
