Predict4Dynamics’s Explainable AI with Azure OpenAI transforms how Dynamics 365 CRM users understand and trust AI-driven predictions by providing clear, human-understandable explanations for every outcome.

Unlike standard predictive tools that only display results or top influencing factors, this feature goes deeper, offering contextual reasoning and insights into why a prediction was made. Users can immediately see the rationale behind lead scoring, opportunity forecasts, customer churn predictions, or project risk assessments, empowering confident, data-driven decision-making.

Steps to enable Explainable AI with Azure OpenAI

• Navigate to the Prediction Settings tab in the Predict AI Model form.

• Under Prediction Explainability Settings, set Explain Prediction to Yes to enable human-readable explanations for every prediction.

• (Optional) In Custom Instructions, add a prompt to define how explanations should be presented—for example, the tone, level of detail, or summary style.

• Once enabled, when a prediction is generated (e.g., for a Lead), the Predict4Dynamics panel displays a detailed explanation that includes Prediction Summary, Positive Factors, Negative Factors, and Overall Impact, helping users understand why a prediction was made.

By leveraging Azure OpenAI, these explanations are dynamically generated, accurate, and easy to interpret, even for users without a technical background.
