# Filter Records within Tree View

The View Record Details in Tree View feature allows users to instantly access different CRM views or filters directly from any node within the Tree View. Instead of navigating back to grids or switching between dashboards, users can review a list of records—such as *All Contacts*, *My Connections*, *Contacts: No Orders in Last 6 Months*, *Active Contacts*, and more—right from within the tree visualization.

With just a click, users can drill into the selected view and explore relevant records in a pop-up style list i.e. in Card Format, enriched with pre-filtered CRM data. This makes the Tree View more than a visualization tool, it becomes an interactive workspace for quick data exploration and decision-making.

As shown in the images, when the user opens the Views menu under a relationship node (e.g., Contact 1:N), a dropdown of CRM system and custom system views appears. Selecting any of these updates the Tree View to show only those filtered records.

### Steps to Configure and Use “Default Filter Record” in Tree View

#### 1. Open the Entity Configuration

Go to:\
Settings → Map My Relationships App-> Entity Configurations → Open the desired relationship record\
(e.g., *contact\_customer\_contacts*)

#### 2. Scroll to Node Settings

Locate the option Default View Filter.

This field determines which CRM view will load when expanding that specific node in Tree View.

#### 3. Select a Default CRM View

Choose from available systems such as:

* All Contacts
* Active Contacts
* My Connections
* Contacts: No Orders in Last 6 Months
* Contacts: Responded to Campaigns
* Excluded Campaign Contacts
* etc.

(The list shown in the first screenshot.)

#### 4. Save the Configuration

Click Save to apply your selected default view.

2. Click the ellipsis (…) or Views icon.
3. A dropdown list of available CRM views appears (as shown in the second image).
4. Select any view to instantly update the displayed records.
