# Delete Files/Folders

Users can delete files/ folders from Attach2Dynamics UI.

**Note:** In order to delete files/ folders from SharePoint, it is necessary to enable the checkbox for ['**Delete Files/ Folders**' ](https://docs.inogic.com/sharepoint-security-sync/features/security-templates#permissions)feature in Permissions using Security Templates.

• Once a user deletes a file or a folder, an error log gets generated, as shown in the below screenshot.

**Note:** The Attach2Dynamics UI has been extended to work with Activity Entities. To enable this functionality, set the "Allow" setting in [Entity Configuration](/sharepoint-security-sync/features/create-multiple-folders-for-activity-entities.md).
