# Set up Security

Subscription and Recurring Billing Management has the following two security roles:

The **Subscription Management Admin** is given the right to configure as well as use Subscription and Recurring Billing Management solution.

{% tab title="Subscription Management User" %}
The **Subscription Management User** is given the right to use Subscription and Recurring Billing Management solution to automate generation of Invoices/Sales Orders, send reminders to overdue invoices , calculate delayed charge (penalty) and taxes for the same.

**Note: It is necessary to assign any one of the above security roles to use Subscription and Recurring Billing Management solution.**

Follow the steps below to assign security roles to users.

* Go to **Advanced Settings** --> **Settings** --> **Security**.

* Select **Users**

* Select **user** --> Click on **MANAGE ROLES.**

* Click on any one of the **security roles** --> Click **OK**.
